After attending the Quo Vadis in April we went to our second convention: the MaGnology. A convention for anime, comic fans and gamers. Among other great indie developers we exhibited our recently released mobile game Super Carl and one of our brand new, soon to be released titles Bubblemon. Bubblemon was presented for the first to time to a public audience, so we were quite excited about the feedback.
Thanks to our intern Miriam we had 3 very fluffy handmade Bubblemon at our exhibition booth, we setup on Thursday.
Our first game Super Carl got a lot of players hooked. One of our highlights was our youngest and probably biggest fan: a small girl around the age of six, who played for almost an hour straight and it was nearly impossible for her mother to convince her that it was time to go home.
Even more addictive was our second game Bubblemon. The game got great feedback and had players coming back again and again for another round. We even had one visitor beating our own highscore.
Our selfmade Bubblemon puppets got quite a lot of attention as well, even if some of the visitors got bitten by Rudi.
During the breaks we had lots of funny conversations with our colleagues from Slash Games, Behind the Stone, Tiny Roar or Beardshaker and were able to make some new and very interesting business connections.
After three days, quite a lot of sessions of Bubblemon, and loads of nice visitors we have to say we had an awesome time at MaGnology and we are looking forward to be there next year again with a playable protoype of Lost Ember.
